Congratulations: MindGamez, here is your layout :)

The main reasons for me picking this above others was that it had perfect content presentation, a great ad spot and a nice patient and communicative guy behind it. Alot of people who entered this competition didn’t pay attention to the ‘design freedom’ they where given in this competition and stuck too much towards what I already had. MindGamez understood this freedom and gave it his all :) Congratulations MindGamez!

You’ll also notice Twod now has an ad system going on, and that if you click the penguin/mascot in the top left hand corner you’ll see all the mascots being rotated, and some information on how you can contribute your mascots to the mix :)

And now for the rest of the entrants… I’d like to say thank you to all 27 other entries that where submitted. There where at least 20 more entries for this competition but some people didn’t really add content, sent me zip files that where corrupted and even sent me layouts that clearly weren’t meant for this competition.   2. Wow this is a really nice layout, looks like it was tough decision. I am really impressed at the standard of the entries (except mine). Congrats again to MindGamez. :)

  3. Just one thing I noticed, that the Archives section doesn’t have an active menu change, so it just stays the same as the other one.

    PS. This only happens after I select Archives from the main page.

  4. To Scott – it’ll do that for now, i’ve still got quite abit to setup here and there and putting my old archive plugin back in is one of them :)

    One more thing I noticed, when I view this page the footer image is aligned left and it repeats, so it doesn’t match up with the side border. ;)

    And one other thing, in the archives, you might want to leave a line or two in between each article, because right now you have the Digg and the Del.icio.us links right above the next title. I’m a pretty annoying person, but I just want to make Twodded good.

  10. One thing i noticed, when i click on archives the tab doesnt come forward, if you know what im talking about, the bottom-shadow remains on the button, you may want to fix that :)

  13. Looks very “31threeish” with the laptop.

    You should consider using the Sliding Doors techniques for your tabs.
