Today’s a good day

Today is one of those days where I wake up and say to my life ‘this is a good day’.

I’ve been extremely busy lately finishing off two or three projects and talking a lot about a new one and last night I was up till just before 2am finishing off the last of those projects. The rush of finishing a project because you want to see it work beas the rush of finishing a project because you need a money any day of the week in my opinion, and this was one of those nights.

Things are also improving in the clientel area with daily work enquiries and with an inheritance of several great clients coming up from a good friend of mine – things are only looking better and better. Add to that a possiblity of a cheap MacBook so I can change my working location around now and again too and I’m even happier, not to mention the possibility of moving to a new place of living fairly soon.

The enquiries for the PHP freelancing helper position were simply outstanding and I’ve not had time to go reply to any just yet, but I’ll more than likely do this on Sunday. Whilst I’m on the subject there’s a little tip for a couple of the guys who applied who probably won’t get replies from me – two sentences won’t ever get you hired.

I’m also looking for some more good freelance designers on my contact list if anyone wants to get in touch.

LOST is good, Prison Break is good, House is good, 24 is good, Jericho is dead and buried (it has until the end of the season to redeem itself) and I’ve found a new show ‘The Black Donnellys’ thanks to a friend of mine which had the best pilot episode I’ve ever watched.

Oh, and the 10,000 gamer points achievement goal was broken last weekend due to a weekend off ;)
