Dan – 2gb, the standard with how many applications I run on a daily basis. You set the amount of RAM that Parallels uses so it will only hog up how much you tell it to (mine is set to 1gb, for example – though it is normally at 256mb)

Nice Setup! This inspired me to hook up another monitor to my iMac :) I love it, thanks a lot.

I just have a few questions, because I see you are running parallels.

How much RAM do you have? The standard 1GB?

I want to install parallels but I think it will hog up too much RAM.

James – soon. I’m mostly thinking over which apartment I want to move into – though the ones I looked at will make some great photographs of the view. The one that is my favourite at the moment overlooks one of the main shopping streets in the Nottingham City centre which has hundreds of thousands of people walk up, down and across it everyday.

A seven floors up open plan apartment with a view over the town, and I’m hoping to make it a decision in the next week :) The only issue is the broadband/phone line which I’ll need to get installed before I move in.

Don’t think I’d like a third 20″ monitor personally. Two 20″ monitors is perfect for me :)

Nice setup you have now; those Samsung TVs look great with the glossy finish.

And you certainly can’t have enough. I reckon though, you could fit another 20″ in there on that MBP :P.
