Tennis highlights need some work

The other day I watched the best tennis match I had ever seen – that between Andy Roddick and Roger Federer. It was an absolutely jaw dropping match and it was a pleasure to watch from start to finish (which never happens with tennis).

However – there’s not a single video I can find that even comes close to summing it up. Infact this one below is just darn pathetic:

This one is better, but still doesn’t include the commentary too much – which is what makes the game that extra bit special.

The best line from the commentator during the match was ‘If this was played on water Federer would be walking on it and Roddick would be drowning right now’.

It’s also pretty funny to see how great Roddick was in his post-match press conference:

  1. Yeah, I honestly walked into watching the game knowing that Federer had the best chances of winning against Roddick. But talk about a beating. It’s interesting because Sharapova ended up yesterday in the same predicament. Roddick’s press conference was hilarious though.
