1. Good Morning Nottingham

    Good Morning Nottingham

Waking up at 8am this morning as my MacBook Pro blasted out the alarm I set after getting up just three hours earlier to check on the progress of a client project, I noticed one thing – Nottingham looks good today. The image above is around 40% of the view from the window directly in front of my desk as I sit fully moved into my new apartment in Marco Island.

As a side note after a disappointing re-launch of another popular site from my past, the Cubic Flow team have done an excellent job of their come back for the third time. The things their team produces excites me and I hope to see much more beautiful art and graphic design from them in the future like they produced with their first magazine release.

  2. Too many screens?

    Too many screens

Samsung 32″ HDTV (arrived last week), 15″ MacBook Pro (arrived today), 20″ Samsung monitor along side a 20″ iMac. Very messy everywhere at the moment as I’m organising everything in preparation for moving out.

The MacBook Pro arrived today with a nice cold metal feel to it out the box, taking an entire minute and a half to get fully running and on the internet – very cool.

It’s my opinion you can never have too many screens. But I’ll let you guys decide.

Everyone needs inspiring from time to time, and one of those great times is being surprised by a fortune cookie when having a meal. The following are cropped versions of Flickr photo’s and I have provided credit underneath each one with a link back to the original source to meet their respective creative commons licensing.

  4. That would’ve put me out of action for a while..

So I’m in my back garden this morning during gale force winds and ridiculous rain to feed the rabbits. I saw a few toys for the kids my mum looks after lying around the garden so I decided to put them back on the patteo when this happened…

    Fence Incident

The right side of the fence basically came completely out of its support and slammed down on the patteo around half a foot away from where I was placing one of those toys. The nails were also still on the back right hand side of the fence panel which is now completely going mental bouncing up and down – all whilst I’m on the right hand side, half a foot/a foot away from it.
