My-Tuts could have been killer
Seems Nick killed it with his lack of maturity and dedication. Maybe I’ll have to revisit the scene one last time.

Finally, My-Tuts has returned to the internet
Can you smell… what the rock… is cooking?
Disclaimer: I had nothing to do with the development of this site. Only the original back in 2006
Ok Ok, enough WWE copyrighted lines for today. But around 5 months ago I gave the My-Tuts domain away to a friend of mine, Nick Berlette to develop. The idea was to stay close to the original My-Tuts and the ‘idea’ around it all and it seems to have done an alright job of doing that.
I personally don’t like the layout (and have told him that from the start), but I’m being told a new layout is already underway. The current layout is actually a rejected layout that was whipped up as an idea before I went ahead and did my own. It wouldn’t be too bad if they re-did the sidebar, removed the horizontal bar below the top navigation and spiced it up a little I don’t think.
However the tagging system works well, and the forums have been improved somewhat over what was originally offered at My-Tuts. And the illustration on the labs page shows exactly why I love to use Richard Shilling for any illustrations. The guide is severely lacking, but Nick knows all this… so I’ll stop pointing things out and let you guys take a look :)
Go look at My-Tuts and judge it accordingly here

So what happened to the My-Tuts domain?
Go check it out, it’s in a pair of very capable hands :)
I’m not directly involved in the project other than providing the domain and some occasional advice, so I’m very excited to see what comes of it. Specially since the new owners are wanting to build upon what My-Tuts once was.

My-Tuts.com? My secret project? You bet your ass it is
I’ve been bugged a lot over what my “secret project” is, and after finally deciding upon a layout for the site yesterday I did decided to let a few people in on the idea. I discussed the idea with exactly 15 close friends and trusted colleagues and every person said they wanted to know when it launched.
So here we go, http://www.my-tuts.com/ a nice little splash page for you guys to sign up for notifications on the site’s progress… and if you one of the first lucky few to sign up for notifications you may even get to BETA test the site before it launches :)
What is it? Let me just say that it isn’t what you think is…
